2012 Barracuda Parent Info
2012 First Day of Practice is Thursday, May 10th
6 and unders 4:00 - 4:45 pm
7 and 8 year olds 4:45 - 5:30 pm
9 and 10 year olds 5:30 - 6:15 pm
11 year olds and up 6:15 - 7:00 pm
We will be having a "New Parent Meeting" on Monday, May 14th, the last 10 minutes of your child's practice - we, along with our coaches, will be available to answer any questions at that time.
We will have regular practice at the times listed above every day (Mon-Fri) for the remainder of May except for dates noted here:
May 18th - Picture Day - Individual Pictures start at 4:00p -- Group Picture 5:00p - please try to attend - more info to come soon!
May 23rd - THIS IS A REVISED DATE from what you received before...We will now be holding our 1st EVER Barracudas "Practice" Meet at home on Wednesday, 5/23 at 6:00 pm....This will be lots of fun - you don't want to miss!!
May 25th - Last Day of School - no practice
May 28th - Memorial Day - no practice
Our morning practices will start on Tuesday, May 29th at the following times:
6 and unders 8:00 - 8:45 am
7 and 8 year olds 8:45 - 9:30 am
9 and 10 year olds 9:30 - 10:15 am
11 year olds and up 10:15 - 11:00 am
If you ordered a team suit and you haven't received it yet, you will be receiving it in the next few weeks. For practice, swimmers can wear any type of swim suit, the team suit is not required during practice.
We realize that this time of year is busy for everyone, so please try to attend as many practices as possible. We are aware that some children will not be able to make every practice and that is okay - You do not need to email us if you are going to miss a practice or two.
If you are interested, we will be selling team swim caps and goggles the 1st few weeks of practice. Our team tshirts will be in soon after the 1st practice....
Our volunteer coordinators, Jennifer Hall and Nicki Rogers, are getting ready to send out will be the Brand New Barracudas Sign Up Genius Site this week ....you will be able to sign up for your volunteer shifts!! We can not do this without YOU! Please contact Jennifer ([email protected]) with any questions you may have regarding these shifts...
