2019: Barracudas in the "Cherokee Division" of ASA
We are part of the Cherokee Division within the Atlanta Swim Association.
13 subdivisions in Cherokee County compete throughout the month of June. And this summer, with the merger of Cherokee Summer Swim Association (CSSA) and Atlanta Swim Association (ASA), Cherokee teams were among 130 teams across the metro Atlanta area that had the opportunity to face off at season’s end in the Olympic Pool at Georgia Tech.
Rivergreen was the highest scoring team from our Division at the ASA Championships with 22 points.
For the regular season, Bradshaw Farm Barracudas went undefeated at 4 – 0.
Eagle Watch was second with a 4-1 record.

2016 CSSA Meet Scoring System
The CSSA is mixing things up this summer! The greatest percentage of points won through the season will determine the County Champion.
How it will work........
Weekly summer swim meets will be scored based on a percentage of points system. There are 506 points available in the first half of a meet (through event 46) and 440 points available in the second half of a meet (events 47-86).
The percentage of points won for each team is calculated as TEAM POINTS/FULL MEET POINTS (or HALF MEET POINTS).
When submitting scores, please submit the POINTS for EACH team and the PERCENTAGE of POINTS WON.
In event of a tie in team percentages (calculated out to the tenth)...
-the first tie breaker will be Head to Head results
-the second tie breaker will be Overall Record
-the third tie breaker will be cumulative number of points scored for the entire season.
If this still results in a tie, then both teams will be declared County Champions.
2015: Barracudas in the "White" Division
This is the first year the CSSA champonship team will be based on overall points for the whole CSSA. This means all teams start on an even playing field, accumulate points, and the team with the most points at the end is declared the CSSA Champsionship swim team.
Note: There will be crossover swim meets between divisions. Each team will swim five (5) swim meets in total. So, we swim the two (2) teams in our division, plus three (3) other teams outside our division.
Each team is limited to 140 swimmers per team. 123 swimmers may swim each meet (give or take 5 or so, but no more than 10).
There will be an overall champ for the entire CSSA, as it will now be based on the running total of all our swim meets. (No longer 5 points for a win and 3 for a meet loss; our end of meet score will be added to our total each week.)
