How to declare for a swim meet!
EVERYONE has to declare for our swim meets ….
If you are going…or not. If you don’t declare on SwimTopia you will be there…your kids won’t be entered into the swim meet.
Knowing you won’t be there… helps our coaches, too!
It’s super easy to do…
Login to your SwimTopia account.
Go here on our SwimTopia website, and scroll down to our meets. You will be able to declare for meets, and select what you want your child to swim.
https://bradshawfarm.swimtopia.com/swim_meets
For example you
will see:
Bradshaw vs Woodlands
And you can click on MEET ENTRY to sign your swimmer/s up!
And
you’ll see your own kid/s names.
Click
“EDIT” and go from there.
You’ll be
able to select if you're attending the swim meet, availability for relays and if you need to leave early or arrive late. There is also a comments field where you can add notes to the coaches.

We want to share a very helpful product on the market to help ward off "Swimmer's Ear" infections, All Dry ear drops. Use after each practice or meet. This bottle was purchased from Amazon, similar brands also available at CVS, Walgreen’s, etc.
When it comes to swim meets, you may have heard the terms, Short Course and Long Course.
The Barracuda meets are Short Course. This means they are staged in 25 yard pools, like the Bradshaw Farm pool.
Most Summer Swim, High School and College swim meets are Short Course.
Year-round club teams also compete in Short Course meets from September through March.
The Olympics and other big-time international swim competitions held in 50 meter pools are called Long Course.
Year-round club teams swim Long Course from April through August. Barracuda swimmers that are also part of year-round teams swim both Short Course and Long Course meets during the summer.
