2015 Season Awards!

The Bradshaw Farm Barracudas swim team finished the Cherokee Summer Swim Association 2015 season undefeated with a victory over the River Green Rays, 599 to 250. This summer, the ‘Cudas also beat the Woodmont Wahoos, Arbor View Devil Rays, Orange Shoals Otters and the Laurel Brooke Lightning.

Barracudas Undefeated!

The Bradshaw Farm Barracudas claimed their third straight summer swim championship with victories over Woodmont, Orange Shoals (parts 1 & 2), Laurel Brooke and Arbor View.

There were fond farewells, too for the Barracudas’ longtime coordinator, Anne Davis. The team is relieved that although she’s stepping down as coordinator, she’ll still be with the Barracudas next summer.

Finally, tears were shed with the departure of Jonny Balchus. Jonny started swimming for the team 12 summers ago and for the past six served as head coach.

Before Jonny swam off into Barracuda immortality, he led his fishies one last time in a rousing rendition of “Icky La Boomba!”

2013 Season Awards!

Barracudas = Back-to-Back Champs

The Barracudas undefeated season means the swim team from the Bradshaw Farm subdivision in Hickory Flat are 2013 champions of the Cherokee Summer Swim Association's "B" division. Last summer, the Barracudas were champs of the former Red League.

This summer, the Barracudas out swam the Arbor View Devil Rays, Orange Shoals Otters, Laurel Brooke Lightning & Woodmont Wahoos.
