Good Afternoon Barracuda Parents!

We are both very excited about this Friday's End of Season Banquet! We wanted to send out one last email with a few reminders and requests.

• Volunteers: We are still in need of a few people to help with serving food from 6-7. If you would be willing to volunteer an hour of your evening, we would appreciate it. You can sign up via the SwimTopia site . . . just like you would declare your swimmer for the meets.
• Fans: If you have a large standing fan that you would not mind us using that night, we would appreciate it! Not only does it help to keep everyone cool (it is supposed to be in the mid 80's that night), but also helps to keep the flies off your food! You can also use the SwimTopia site to volunteer your fan - please make sure to put your name on your fan and have it at the Golf Clubhouse Tent between 4 - 4:30 on Friday (or you can bring it to Thursday's meet and we can store it in the closet overnight).
• Banquet Schedule:
  • 6:00 - 7:00: Dinner will be served
  • 7:30: Awards Ceremony Begins
  • 8:00: End of Year Video
  • 8:30: Swimming Down at the Pool (if weather permits)
• Parking: Please use either the pool or golf course parking lots. We will have the one small lot by the tent blocked off for the catering truck and other vehicles that are being used to transport larger items to and from the pool.
• Seating for Dinner:  The tent does not have enough seating for everyone to be sitting at a table. However, during dinner, we will have several places for families to eat (under the tent, under the pop-up tents on the front lawn, etc.). If you did not order the catered dinner from Shane's feel free to come at either 6:00 to sit with friends (and bring your own food too if you like) or closer to 7:30 for the awards ceremony.
• Seating for Awards Ceremony:  During the awards ceremony, we will have a section up front for the swimmers to sit so that they can see. This section will be on the floor so your little one may want to bring a towel/blanket to sit on.
• Swimming after the Video:  At the conclusion of the video, we invite all families to head down to the pool for a late-night swim. One last Barracuda “Fun Friday” 😊.
