Hey Barracudas!

Wanted to pass along a very neat swim event… our kids did this a number of years ago and had a lot of fun…AND they give out really cool medals - see pics on our swimtopia site. This is not a swim meet that our coaches or coordinators organize….it would be up to you and your family to register and attend the meet on your own. It is not affiliate with the Atlanta Swim Association. Cool thing is… it’s right in our backyard at the Cherokee Co. Aquatic Center…so you don’t have to go far!

It is very professionally run. It would also be good practice if you think you want to do the District/State GRPA meets or the ASA Championship meet (all not mandatory...only if you want to).

Check-in Start: 10:45AM, Warm-ups:12-noon, Meet Start:1:15 PM
Cherokee Aquatic Center, 1200 Gresham Mill Pkwy, Holly Springs, GA 30115

Each entrant may enter 4 swimming events and 2 relays.

Note: you can still do relays… you’d just let them know you are “unattached” and would like your child to paired up with other kids who are there without their whole swim team. You do not need a coach for this event. If you win Gold, Silver or Bronze in any event, you will qualify for the National Games in Lynchburg, Virginia. You will compete alongside 10,000+ athletes at the National Games.

Entry Fee:
1) Register online: $8.00 per athlete (pool surcharge included)
2) $5.00 per individual event and $5.00 per athlete for relay events

Deadline: June 10, 2019 at noon
