Hello Barracuda Parents! We hope everyone had a safe & enjoyable Winter Break. It is going to be SUMMER before we know it. Sarah & I are super excited to get this season going as we all missed last summer's season due to COVID. We wanted to send out a few reminders & dates. (I apologize for the LENGTHY email - but PLEASE write down these dates & info). 2021 REGISTRATION INFO: *Bradshaw Farm (Residents) Registration will open this Sunday February 28th at 8am. (a code will be emailed out) *All other neighborhoods (Non-Residents) Registration will open next Friday March 5th at 8am. (a different code will be emailed out) ***IF YOU LEFT YOUR MONEY WITH US LAST SUMMER TO ROLL OVER INTO THIS SUMMER....WE WILL BE EMAILING YOU A SPECIFIC CODE AS WELL***
2021 OPEN HOUSE: *Our OPEN HOUSE will be next Saturday March 6th from 9-1pm at the Bradshaw Farm clubhouse. 2021 TEAM SUIT: You can try on & order the team suit which is the same from last year at our Open House. (THIS SUIT IS MANDATORY- just like a team uniform). If any questions about our team suit - please call All American Swim in Roswell at 770-400-9870. BARRACUDA INFO: *Please like our Facebook page (Bradshaw Barracudas Swim Team) that way you will be able to receive any important information as the season progresses. *Please make sure you have also signed up on our Swimtopia site (Bradshaw Farm Barracudas) - this is where you will be registering your kids to swim, signing up for volunteer shifts, practice times, meet locations & will have access to tons of awesome information about our swim team. *If you know of anyone wanting to JOIN our Barracuda family - please give them my email [email protected] or [email protected]. 2021 SPONSORS: *If anyone is interested in becoming a SPONSOR for our swim team - please contact Tina Cesnik @ [email protected]. 2021 LEADS: *If you are a LEAD - be on the lookout for a specific email for you as well. Some of our lead positions will be altered this year due to COVID. Also if anyone is interesting in learning more information in becoming a Barracuda Co-coordinator for next year - please let me know ASAP. 2021 PRACTICES: AFTERSCHOOL "DRYLAND" (no suit needed) PRACTICES will begin on: *MAY 12,13,14 & 17th. (weather permitting) 4:30pm for 9/10 & under. 5:15pm for 11/up. TEAM PICTURES: INDIVIDUAL & TEAM PICTURES will be taken on TUESDAY MAY 18th at 4:30pm (will start with individual pictures at 4:30pm, then do the team picture & finally finishing up any remaining individual pics for any late comers) AFTERSCHOOL PRACTICES: We will start normal (in the pool) practices on Wednesday May 19th until the end of school with this schedule. Please remember that practices are NOT MANDATORY. You do what you can. No need to notify us if your swimmer cannot make it to practices. 4:00-4:445pm = 6 & unders 4:445-5:30pm = 7/8 5:30-6:15pm = 9/10 6:15-7:00pm = 11 & up MORNING PRACTICES: Once school is out - morning practices will begin with this schedule. 8:00-8:45am = 6 & unders 8:45-9:30am = 7/8 9:30-10:15am = 9/10 10:15-11:00am = 11 & up Finally - most of our meets will be on THURSDAY nights. We are patiently waiting to hear if we will be allowed to swim at other pools this summer. Remember - its only February right now - a lot can change by May. We do have to follow all CDC & ASA guidelines for COVID for our summer swim team. We will always update you with any new information or changes. So everyone please stay SAFE & HEALTHY!
