PLEASE READ: FOR ALL BARRACUDA PARENTS
Good Evening Barracuda Parents!
Well - we finished up with meet #1! So now EVERYONE should be pretty familiar with DECLARING YOUR SWIMMER or signing up for VOLUNTEER SPOTS throughout the rest of this season.
Next week will be a bit crazy for us because of having two meets in one week. Many people have asked why we are having these two meets this week. The reason is ASA (Atlanta Swim Association) scheduled our very first meet originally to be on Thursday May 27th. But our HOA does NOT allow us to have any meets during the last week of school. So we squeezed a makeup meet into week #2.
Ok - on to the important info.
#1 - EVERYONE should know how to DECLARE your swimmer if they are ATTENDING or NOT ATTENDING. If you do not declare either one...Coach Ansley will have to assume that your child WILL NOT BE HERE for the meet. Declaring is now CLOSED for Meets 2 & 3. So if you know your swimmer's schedule for the rest of the season...please declare them now before you forget. There will be NO MORE remind calls or texts to parents for Meets 4 & 5.
***On that same subject - from here on out if you have an issue with your child (sick the day of the meet, hurt, unexpectedly have to go out of town, etc) you are to EMAIL COACH ANSLEY ONLY. (not Sarah or myself) & EMAIL ONLY PLEASE.***
Her email is [email protected][email protected]
We are excited for our second meet which will be against The Woodlands. Do not forget our theme for Tuesday's meet will be ANYTHING IN THE DISNEY UNIVERSE. Your swimmer can come dressed as a princess, Jedi, superhero or just about anything in between. The force is strong in our house :)
The last thing we would like to leave you with is to THANK YOU to ALL PARENTS. We know for many of you this was your first meet & had no idea what to expect. We hope your children had a great time last Thursday night. We cannot control the weather & we survived! I've heard it's supposed to rain all week...so come with more rain gear. We told you to come hungry & boy did you. We will have more food on hand this time! So again parents...thank you! Thank you for allowing your child to become Barracudas this summer & hanging in there with us through thick & thin.
See you all at the pool tomorrow morning!
