Hello Barracudas,

Can you believe it!? Our 2014 summer swim season starts in less than 2 weeks – we are very excited! We can't wait to see you!!

As a reminder.....Our 1st day of practice is Monday, May 12th, times are as follows:

6 and unders        4 - 4:45 pm

7 and 8 year olds    4:45 - 5:30 pm

9 and 10 year olds   5:30 - 6:15 pm

11 year olds and up  6:15 - 7 pm

We will be having  "New Parent Meetings" on May 16th, the last 10 minutes of your child's practice - we, along with our coaches, will be available to answer any questions at that time.

We will have regular practice at the times listed above every day (Mon-Fri) for the remainder of May except for dates noted here:

May 19th - Picture Day:  Individual pictures start at 4:00 -- Group picture 5:00pm.  Please try to attend - more info to come soon!

May 22nd - Barracudas "Practice" Meet at home on Thursday, 5/22 at 6 pm. We’ll be running the meet like a regular meet!  We will be using this as time trials, to get the swimmer’s times for the start of the season.
May 26th - Memorial Day - no practice

May 29th – Bradshaw Farm vs Woodmont, at Woodmont (this is the last day of school too - no better way to ring summer in!!)

Our morning practices will start on Monday, June 2nd at the following times:
6 and unders       8 - 8:45 am
7 and 8 year olds     8:45 - 9:30 am
9 and 10 year olds   9:30 - 10:15 am
11 year olds and up   10:15 - 11 am

You can still order a team suit! Details on our home page: https://bradshawfarm.swimtopia.com/  For practice, swimmers can wear any type of swim suit, the team suit is not required during practice.

You can also find information about getting dive certified on our home page.  This is a requirement for everyone on the team to be able to dive in 4-5 feet of water at away meets where this applies.

Please note – if your child doesn’t get dive certified!  No big deal – promise!  They can do in water starts at the away meets.

NOTE – we have to do in water starts at our own pool as we are below 4 feet on each end.

We realize that this time of year is busy for everyone, so please try to attend as many practices as possible.  We are aware that some children will not be able to make every practice and that is okay.

You do not need to email us if you are going to miss a practice, just be there when you can!

We will be selling team swim caps and magnets the 1st few weeks of practice.  Our team t-shirts will be in soon!
