BF Barracuda Announcements - June 4, 2022

    June 4, 2022

    Hello Barracuda's,

Great job on our first swim meet! It is wonderful to see the kids in the water showing off their hard work and watching our swimmers cheer on their teammates. It’s been three years since we swam another team (in person) and the success of our swim meet is due to our parent volunteers and volunteer leads. Thank YOU for all you do!

Here are a couple reminders as we launch into week two of summer swim season:

    • Meet declarations are due by this Sunday, June 5th, end of day for our next home meet scheduled for Thursday, June 9th vs Arbor View Devil Rays. Our coaches put a lot of effort in lining up the meet schedule, which is then merged online with the opposing team the next day. Thanks for meeting this deadline
    • Please ensure your swimmers stay for their entire events, unless there is an emergency, as they are needed for their events and relays. Leaving early impacts their teammates from being able to participate in a relay and the overall success of the team. There is an option to select leaving at mid-point when declaring your swimmer. If needed, please select this option when declaring your swimmer by end of day this Sunday
    • There is a five shift volunteer requirement per family. If you aren’t able to make that commitment or your selected shift(s) for a meet, you will be charged the $35 fee

Thank you for enjoying our concessions, which ultimately supports our swim team. We have the best fare in the county due to our wonderful concession leads and volunteers.

We look forward to next week and as always, don’t hesitate to reach out to your swim coordinators with any questions. Just a friendly reminder that Megan Kremer is no longer a coordinator.😊

    Thanks,

    Carla, Kari and Sarah
