Thursdays and Bad Weather Go Together Like....
Peanut Butter and Jelly, Salt and Pepper, Bread and Butter, Fish and Chips, and Barracudas and WINNING - yes, when the storm hit ... we were beating the Orange Shoals Otters 109-70!
Awesome job to ALL of our swimmers and parents tonight! We did the best we could given the weather situation. We prepped our "shelter" areas and put a plan into place with the other team and went to safety as efficiently as we knew how! We appreciate those shepherds who were so conscientious, carrying their "rolls" around making sure all of their "sheep" were accounted for...We appreciate our Concessions team, who worked so hard to provide such awesome food tonight, only to have to pack it all up early...We appreciate our amazing DJ Sean Mullings, who huddled under a metal tent with us in some popping lightening to make sure his equipment was "safe".....We appreciate all of you - our Barracuda family is like none other!
Stay tuned for the MakeUp meet plan...right now we are waiting on the HOA to approve the makeup date we've discussed with Orange Shoals. We will be able to start that meet at event 21, where we left off! In the meantime, we have FUN FRIDAY tomorrow - 9 am for 10 and unders and 10 am for 11 and ups! We also need to start thinking about our meet next week at Laurel Brooke! You have until Saturday at noon to declare in or out for that meet.
