I hope you are having a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend! This week we start morning practices and SWIM SEASON IS IN FULL SWING! This is a LONG email but packed full of important information! PLEASE READ TO THE END. TUESDAY 5/30 FUN MEET!
ARRIVAL TIME for MEET: Swimmers should arrive by 5pm in TEAM SUITS ready to warm-up. Coordinators and set up crew will be in the pool early setting up for the meet and moving things around. We will allow parents in at 4:45pm-PLEASE NO EARLIER. Please be patient with us and respect our need to set up, clean up and prepare for the meet! Meet starts at 6pm. **We will email out the heat sheets for Tuesday’s Meet on Tuesday by 3pm!! We have fun themes for each meet. Tuesday's THEME is NEON!! Dress in bright neon colors to show your Barracuda Spirit and glow sticks are a good idea too! IMPORTANT: Please keep an eye on your children during the swim meets and know when their events are, especially our younger swimmers. We prefer them to stay in the bullpen area with their age group and Shepherd so they are available and ready for their event. The Volunteer Shepherds start lining up for each event 3-4 events in advance. I also ask that you remind your children to be respectful to both the property and to the wonderful adults that have volunteered to help ensure they get to their events. Let's start the season on a good note and communicate this to our children. CONCESSIONS!! - Accepts VENMO, Cash, & Credit Card Our Concessions will have lots of food Tuesday so please come hungry!!
Tuesday we will have pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, pasta salad.
And of course we always have a full spread of candy, chips and sodas, gatorades, and water for purchase. Please plan on eating dinner with us as our concession sales help pay for our coaches!! It's also very helpful to put your child's first name and age on the back of their shoulder! VOLUNTEER JOBS - Thank you to all of you that have signed up for all of your shifts for the season!!
