Hello Barracudas!

Tonight is our last away meet against Woodmont! We’re excited for some fast swimming! Below are all the details:

Where: Woodmont Pool, 102 Chadwyck Lane, Canton, GA

Pool: Woodmont has 5 lanes and diving blocks! If your swimmer has been dive certified, they will get the opportunity to dive at this meet if they choose!

When to arrive: Please arrive by 5:15. Our swimmers will warm up at 5:30 sharp. Woodmont has requested that swimmers do NOT arrive before 5:00.

Where to park: Parking will be tight. Note that there is NO parking on Chadwyck Lane (the main road on that side of the neighborhood). See map and directions attached. Please carpool if possible!

Woodmont has a few overflow parking options.

• Side streets off of Chadwyck - please be sure not to block driveways on either side and only park on one side of the street.
• Big Blue Marble Academy - they are located just before our neighborhood on the left and there is a sidewalk that connects their lot to our neighborhood (this is a good option for those coming a little later when the meet has already started).
• Tennis Courts - located on the opposite entrance just a ways down on the right - also with a sidewalk to come across.

We plan to have some attendants trying to direct where parking is still available. Their parents will also have golf carts patrolling the area to shuttle people to the pool and following the meet.

Concessions: They will be serving grilled burgers and hotdogs, Kona Ice and lots of snacks and drinks. Cash and venmo are accepted.

Theme: Disney/Marvel!

Volunteers: THANK YOU to all who have signed up to help! We still have a few critical roles open - please fill in where you can. Please also note that there are certain positions we cannot hold a meet without so it is possible you may be asked to be flexible and do something other than what you signed up to do. Seating: The pool deck will be tight. Please bring your own chairs and note that you may be more comfortable sitting outside the deck between your swimmers' events.

We will send out the event lineup later today. Please mark your swimmers' arms and get ready to swim fast! If you need anything, please reach out!
