Hello Barracudas!

Great week of practice! It has been awesome seeing all of the Barracudas reunited with each other. As we wrap up our first week of success, a few things that need to be addressed:

1. Paperwork: Many swimmers have been at practice without the required paperwork. I (Sarah) will be walking around the pool deck this afternoon and pulling kids out of the pool that do not have all paperwork turned in. We will have extra copies inside the clubhouse if you need them. Remember, BOTH parents are required to sign the waiver, so please have these done today.

2. Declare your swimmers' events: Please login to Swimtopia by this evening, if you have not already, to declare which events you want your child to swim during our meet at Woodmont. Please remember, that Coach Nell will do best to accommodate but it is still 100% her choice in the end.

3. Spirit wear: Tonight is the cut off for ALL spirit wear orders. I will be accepting checks and online payments until about 10:00 pm this evening. After that, the merchandise page will be shut down and no new orders will be accepted. All orders have a 2 week turnaround time, therefore we need to get the orders in ASAP.

4. Unsupervised children: There have been a large amount of kids running around the pool grounds this week with no parent supervision. We have had to pull kids out of the pool while it isn't their designated practice time as well as remove kids several times out of our supply closets. The pool rules state that any one under the age of 13 is required to have an adult accompany them to the pool. Please do not expect the parents of others and the coaches to take responsibility for your children.

5. Volunteer shifts: If you have not already signed up for your designated 5 volunteer slots, please do so ASAP. Please talk to one of the coordinators (Tori, Lara, or Sarah) if you want to opt out of volunteering for meets ($150 fee).

Thank you all for your wonderful donations and help this week. It has been a smooth start to the season so far, and we are only 1 week away from our first meet at Woodmont!
