Hi Barracudas!!

It's time to start getting excited about the ASA Championship at GA Tech on Thursday, June 25! THIS MEET IS AWESOME - you don't want to miss it! We are the DEFENDING CHAMPIONS - that's right, Bradshaw Barracudas won FIRST PLACE last year and we want to do it again!!!! The more swimmers who go, the better our chances! 

We will be swimming in the official Olympic Pool and there are ribbons, medals, and... TROPHIES for the top teams! 

This is an optional, SUPER exciting, SUPER fun, HIGH energy, FAST meet that is open to ALL swimmers (must be able to confidently swim the length of the pool unassisted - coaches are not allowed in the water with them at this meet). Kids can choose their own individual events - two total - and coaches will create relays based on how many swimmers from each age group attend. 

Declare in Swimtopia by next Wednesday, 6/17 (choose your events when you declare). Entries are due to ASA by Friday 6/19. Fee is $50 per swimmer. 

We have the morning session - once everyone is registered ASA will publish the warm-up schedule. It will be early : ) Plan on being down there until at least 2 pm, possibly later. 

Our team has to provide volunteers to staff the meet. If your child is swimming in the meet, you need to be prepared to volunteer for a half shift - we will be splitting the shifts this year so they will be shorter, but we'll need more volunteers. If we don't get enough volunteers we will use a lottery system to choose them.
