2015 Meet Info (per CSSA):
-Each team is limited to 140 swimmers per team. 123 swimmers may swim each meet (give or take 5 or so, but no more than 10).
-No coaches in scoring lanes.
-Swimmers must be able to swim the full 25 yards unassisted by the first swim meet.
-Only one (1) heat of IM's (unless teams agree upon more than one heat).
-Only one (1) heat of relays (unless teams agree upon more than one heat).
-Relays: swimmers may only swim up one (1) age group.
-Individual events: no swimming up an age group. (exception is if you have lanes open in other events & age groups, you can throw 'extras' in there)
-DQ'ing will happen for:
-False starts
-One hand touches on strokes that require two hand touches
-Illegal kicks
-Pushing off bottom of pool
-Pulling on lane ropes
-DQ'ing happens when:
-1st meet: all are warnings only, unless an unfair advantage
-2nd meet: 13-14 and up for infractions
-3rd meet: 11-12 and up for infractions
-4th meet: 9-10 and up for infractions
-5th meet: all age groups for infractions
-Diving:
-Under four (4) feet - NO DIVING ((we cannot dive at our pool at meets))
-4 feet to 5 feet - must have waiver and dive certification
-Over five (5) feet - diving is allowed
-If swimmer was certified last year, they are still certified
-Only new swimmers, or those not certified, need to be
-Mark a "D" on right shoulder at meets for those that CAN DIVE (parents do this)
-5 years old don't get dive certified, and don't dive at meets

-NO DRINKING will be tolerated per CSSA;NO Solo Cups/ NO Sport Bottles-drop-ins from CSSA could happen to check, this is not a new rule, but is being enforced this year by CSSA
Thinking ahead-
We will be doing SUPER HERO night at Arbor View June 4th-and parent relays that night (100 meter freestyle)
