I just wanted to give you some info on Swimmer of the Week. We have a few new things, in addition to what we have previously done.

Coaches pick 1 boy and 1 girl from of the following age groups.
6 and under
7&8
9&10
11&12
13 & up

SOW is announced on Friday mornings at Fun Fridays.

Barracuda’s of the Week get:
~A yard sign to display for the week (returned the following Wed.)
~A trophy to display for the week (10 and under- returned the following Wed.)
~A certificate and BIO on Swimtopia
~$1 Barracuda Buck for home concession stand

~ ***NEW*** RANDOM ACTS OF BARRACUDA SPIRIT Swim Beads!
SOW will get 4 SWIM BEADS. 1 bead to keep and put it on a bracelet, necklace, backpack tag, key chain, or whatever they want. The other 3 swim beads are for them to GIVE AWAY and spread team spirit to any 3 team mates whom they see doing something that displays the Barracuda spirit! Maybe that team mate worked really hard at practice, or finally swam the length of the pool, or beat their swim time, or cleaned up some trash, or helped someone else, or maybe they did something AWESOME!All swimmer will can earn swim beads. Coaches will also have swim beads to pass out throughout the week at practices or meets, as they see deserving swimmers! Remember-Barracuda SPIRIT MATTERS!

~***NEW*** PHOTO MATS
One other new thing this year is a photo mat that will be available during the week in the clubhouse for team mates and coaches to sign with words to describe, encourage, and entertain each SOW. They will get this mat to keep and use to display their favorite photo from swim team! Please stop in and sign SOW’s mat each week!
