Your kids should all be very proud of our undefeated season with the teams we swam against in 2015! Woooooot!

We wanted to share the results for the overall winner of the CSSA this summer…they are below:

A few notes to include should you have q’s about the results:

-This summer was the first time they did an overall winner solely based on points added up from each team’s meet scores (no official Division winners announced).

-The highest scoring meet was not included for any team, per the CSSA board. (That would be our meet against Rivergreen). We have been told that was to give every team a more fair advantage to earn points, per the CSSA board.

-Our meet against Woodmont was only a half meet (ended early due to it being so cold, agreed upon by our team and Woodmont). For us and Woodmont, our half meet points were used….all other teams finished their meets that night and their full meet points counted from their entire meet, per the CSSA.

-The CSSA board came up with the decision to do scoring this way this season, and have said they will access how it was done this year to see if it might be done differently next season. ((Remember there are 3 positions coming open on the CSSA board if you are interested in running!))

-Reminder that the way the CSSA operates these last few years is we swim teams based on location, not ability (like we used to when we'd go up against Deer Run, etc, in 2012 and prior years, when a County Champion was announced).

We were undefeated this summer in our Division against the teams we swam… an accomplishment to be proud of for sure! Way to go ‘Cudda’s!
