Barracuda parents,

Unsupervised children at the pool: I hate to continue addressing this on every email but we continue to have problems at the pool both inside and outside the gates.

The HOA has notified me that our team is trashing the playground area and the lifeguards are having to clean up after us almost everyday. We have noticed an abundance of children that are NOT 13, which is the neighborhood required age, hanging out in and outside of the pool gate. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN.

Several children are also being dropped off. If you are dropping your child off, it needs to be exactly at the start of their designated swim practice, and they have to be picked up immediately after their practice. No kids should be hanging around before or after their practice without a parent/guardian. The coaches are not babysitters (neither are we). We will start sending kids back home if they arrive unsupervised before their designated time.

Swimmer of the week: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE return your signs and trophies every Wednesday (Yes, that would be today). We have to get the signs ready for the next swimmer of the week. Last week one of the swimmers didn't get a sign due to one not being returned on time. This is a fun addition to the season, please follow the guidelines that you all get when your child is given this recognition.

District meet: We still do NOT have any paperwork regarding the district meet.

We will email you all ASAP once that information is available.

Team leads: We have a number of team lead positions open for next year. Please contact me if you are interested in leading one of our teams... you get a free swimmer and special gifts!!

Spiritwear: We still have several PJ pants, Olympic shirts, and other awesome spiritwear for sale. Be ready to purchase these at our first home meet tomorrow against the Arbor View Devilrays! We will have a table setup right in front of the coke machine. Bring cash or check!
